Hello there!
Why would a person put a piece of art up on the wall of their home or office?
There are a few others, but I think the fundamental reason is to express ourselves. The pieces we display tell people (and are a reminder to ourselves) who we are, what we like, what is important to us. Sometimes when people ask about one of your pieces on exhibit, you might say, "Oh, I don't know, I just like it." You probably like it because it shows the world what you connect with.
